Crip Rave Theory : Accessible and Intersectional Club Spaces in Australia and Beyond

A chat with two party starters about accessible and intersectional club spaces in Australia and beyond.

Join two founders of celebrated club nights for discussion about the importance of community organising and advocacy through partying. Riana Head-Toussaint is a community organiser and instigator of celebrated club night Crip Rave Theory. Aisha Mirza is a UK DJ and founder of MISERY, a sober club night and mental health hub for queer folks. Together, they’ll chat about how their values lead their curatorial practices, and how their events have evolved into the vibrant community linchpins they are today. The talk will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Sosefina Fuamoli.
