AGE RESTRICTIONS

All events at PICA are Licenced 18+. Every attendee must be able to present one of the following ID’s to gain entry: valid driver’s licence, passport, keypass, or proof of age card

ACCESSIBILITY

ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE, WHEELCHAIR ACCESS AND TOILETS:

The venue entrance on Thackray Road and the event space is wheelchair accessible and has a DDA toilet. 

The event grounds are wheelchair accessible, however please be aware that this is a large and partially outdoor event that may require travelling on varied terrain, of concrete.

PICA’s indoor show space has a viewing platform available to patrons. The viewing platform has seating and blank space areas.

GUIDE DOGS:

Guide Dogs are permitted on event grounds to valid Disability Card or Companion Card holders.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING:

Accessible parking is available to Blue Badge holders by prior arrangement. Please contact oli@pica.melbourne before event day. Accessible parking cannot be arranged on event day.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Tram 109:

Closest stop is stop 128, Graham St/Light Rail (25 minute walk to PICA)

Bus 235 from Southern Cross Station:

Get off at Plummer & Salmon St (7 min walk to PICA). 

We recommend you utilise the Journey Planner available on Public Transport Victoria’s website to plan your route to the venue.

TAXI / RIDESHARE

Venue address is 1 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne. VMS Boards and Traffic Management staff will direct drivers to drop off point on event site. 

DRIVING

PICA is located approx 6 km from Melbourne CBD, a 16 minute drive via Kings Way/Princes Hwy/A60 

PLEASE NOTE - No Parking is available on site. It is recommended you utilise rideshare and the pickup / drop off zone. There is Strictly NO event parking on Woolboard Road or Thackray Road, any cars that park here will be towed. 

Free street parking on Salmon Street, Rocklea Drive and surrounding streets along with Free public car park parking is located on Salmon Street Frontage Road.

Parking is limited in the surrounding areas on weekdays.
