BY CAR

If being dropped off by friends or rideshare services, for safety reasons please do not drop off on Dudley St before the lights, please go beyond the stoplights to where there are parking bays. The best and safest option is Rosslyn St which runs parallel to Dudley St.

PARKING

Festival Hall does not have its own carpark.

For accessibility bookings we endeavour to arrange access to the road closure area in Rosslyn St at the back of the venue. Please note that spaces are limited and patrons are required to contact Festival Hall Administration to arrange this prior to the event day at admin@festivalhall.com.au

There is limited street parking available in the West Melbourne/North Melbourne area, but please be aware of signed parking times. Please check out the Festival Hall website for nearby car park options.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Please see ptv.vic.gov.au for timetables and service disruptions.

Tram: Routes 30, 35 (free City Circle), and 86 stop at the corner of Latrobe and Spencer Streets. Festival Hall is a 5 minute walk along Spencer Street away from the city and left into Dudley Street.

Train:

  • Southern Cross Station (Suggested) – 12-15 minute walk (1.1 km). Walk northbound of the city along Spencer Street and turn left into Dudley Street.

  • North Melbourne Station – 8-10 minute walk (900m). Walk southbound down either Adderley St or Railway Place to reach Dudley St.

Bus: Route 220 runs along Dudley Street, use stop number 5.

Scooter: If using an electronic scooter to get to the venue, please do not leave these in the direct vicinity of the venue. These areas must be kept clear for patron safety around the venue.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE

Entry onto the main floor is via Door 6 or if prior arrangements are made, access can be arranged via Rosslyn St for those patrons with GA Floor tickets.

ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM

There is an accessible toilet located next to the Door 6 entry. Ambulant toilet cubicles are in our main toilets.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING

There is a platform located on the main GA floor area for accessibility patrons if they wish to use it. There is a limited capacity for this platform area, so please ensure you purchase accessibility tickets to ensure that a space is reserved for yourself and one friend.

For ambulatory patrons or other needs, we have seating available in the wing areas. Patrons in these areas would be required to navigate stairs to access facilities.

SUPPORT ANIMALS

Guide/support dogs are welcome at Festival Hall. If you require information on bringing your support dog into the Venue, please contact us at admin@festivalhall.com.au

Due to the noise levels of some shows, you may like to consider an alternative aid for those events expected to be of a higher noise level.
